Editorial Standards
Art Craft Play publishes free craft guides and sells original digital printables for families, teachers, and homeschoolers. These standards explain who writes our guides, how we test projects, and how we correct mistakes.
Who writes our guides
Craft guides are written and reviewed by our founder and family team. We name the author on each guide and link to our About page so you can see who is behind the advice.
We do not outsource anonymous “AI content farms.” When we use tools to draft or edit, a human parent who has made the craft still reviews ages, materials, timing, and safety notes before publish.
How we test crafts and printables
We test-print files on a home printer when we can, and we try the craft with our own kids before we call a guide “easy” or “low mess.” Ages, prep time, and difficulty on a guide reflect that hands-on pass — not keyword padding.
Product listings state page count, format, and license in plain language. If a pack needs scissors, glue, or adult help, we say so.
Sources and originality
Line art and layouts are original to our shop unless a listing clearly credits another source. We do not scrape clip packs or republish other creators’ freebies as our own.
Seasonal ideas may overlap popular craft themes (paper plate pumpkins, yarn snowmen). Our value is the tested steps, printable pieces, and honest constraints for real households.
Updates and corrections
We show a published date and, when we change materials, steps, or downloads, an updated date on craft guides.
If you find a broken link, unsafe step, or wrong age range, email hello@artcraftplay.com with the page URL. We will fix the guide and note material updates when the change affects how the craft is made.
Advertising and affiliate disclosure
Product pages sell our own digital downloads. Craft guides may link to our printables. We do not accept payment from third parties to place undisclosed craft recommendations in guides.
